Wedding Facts:

Do you send other photographers to the wedding or do you shoot every one?
We are at every wedding that we book. We are with our clients from the first intial meeting to the delivery of their albums/products. At no time would we send someone else to do our job. Derek Wilson:  I have very high standards in photography and also have my own style of shooting. I want the best quality for our clients, so every wedding, portrait, event, is carefully edited, and re edited for consistancy.

Where are you located?
We are located in Knoxville, TN.

Can we upgrade our package or add options closer to the date or after?
Absolutely! There are some upgrades that can only be within a time period though.

What if we decide that we need Wilson Photography to stay longer at our wedding and we only have so many hours?
You can add on more hours at your wedding at any time. Hours are charged at the standard hourly rate.

What is the deposit for Wedding Packages?
We require 30% to hold the date. This deposit goes towards your final balance.

We would like an engagement session, can we add one at any time?
Yes! There is a time period to getting images to the newspaper for your engagement announcement so we need to have the session before that. If you are not posting in the newspaper, we can shoot anytime!

How long after the wedding would our images be ready?
Wedding images usually take between 4-6 weeks.  We take pride in the quality of images that we hand over.

Do you edit our wedding images?
We go through every image and pick out the absolute best! Not only do we edit the best images we also color correct and photoshop(small blemishes) all of them as well.
There is no extra charge for this, we think our clients deserve the best.
Ask other other photographer's if they do this!

Do you have backup equipment?
Of course! If you are considering using a photographer that doesn't have backup equipment, you need to think twice.

How long do you stay at the weddings?
All wedding packages have hours included in them. You decide on what package and the amount of hours Wilson Photography will be there. The more hours we are there, the more images the bride and groom receive. You can also opt to include more hours in any package.

Do I get to keep the images?
All our Premium packages come with copyright forms so you can print them anywhere you like!

How long have you been a professional photographer?
I started shooting professionally since in 2000.

What is the style of Wilson Photography?
Our goal is to capture the moment as natural as possible. Thus, we shoot around 80% photojournalistic style and 20% posed/formal style. We are open to any ideas you have regarding your wedding or portrait session!

What about wedding albums?
Some of our packages include albums. We also offer custom albums as an add-on to any package that you create. We currently offer Flush mount albums. This have been most popular and you get more images on them. If you are interested in a Matted Album, we can discuss the options with you!

Is there a travel fee?
Depending on the location of the event, packages may be subject to a travel fee. Please inquire regarding travel fees.
