What should we wear to our Engagement Session?
I get this question all the time, so I wanted to add some suggestions here. Really, the main advice I give to get more out of your engagement session is to have fun with it! Don’t settle for the matching jeans and tops look. Get your make-up and hair professionally done, and bring several outfits with accessories. Realistically, we will only shoot two outfits in the time we have, but options are always good. Dressing up is always fun and accessories can really make a difference – whether it be jewelry, different shoes, scarves, or flowers for your hair
.Also, feel free to bring props! Nothing too overboard or anything, but if you serenade your sweetheart with a guitar every night, we could incorporate it in a few shots. Or if you consider yourselves a bit quirky or romantic or fun, you could bring a bunch of balloons, a kite, a vintage bicycle built for two - the skies the limit! I’m always thrilled when people infuse their personalities into the session!
How long after our Engagement Session would our images be ready?
Engagement Session images take 2 weeks. We take pride in the quality of images that we hand over.
Equipment:
Do you have backup equipment?
Of course! If you are considering using a photographer that doesn't have backup equipment, you need to think twice.

My reception is in a different location from the wedding site. Does the travel time count against me?
No. We do not count travel time between locations against you.
I have seen images on other sites that I would like to have from my wedding, can you create them for us?

Portraits
We are interested in having a portrait session, how do we go about booking?
You can make an appointment via email, phone or consultation.
Can we have pictures with our pets?
Yes. We have pets of our own and realize that they are parts of the family.
What should I wear?
Depending on what type of portrait session you are doing, my advice is always to dress your best and if possible, get your hair and make-up professionally done - even if you are going for a more natural look. It really makes a difference in the images. You can bring several outfits and accessories, and we’ll go over everything before the shoot to find the best clothes to fit the location and the look you are going for. Also, feel free to bring props for your shoot that fit your personality - this helps in creating a more “lifestyle” feel to the images as well.
For children’s portraits, definitely bring several outfits and their favorite toys! Scarves, hats, and other accessories look especially cute and unique in images.
